Jeff Johnson

- Principal/President
Jeff is a Principal and President of Johnson & Strachan. Jeff left public accounting as an auditor to enter the insurance business in 1976. He started with Aetna Life & Casualty as a Life Insurance Agent and left in 1980. He joined Jim Castiglia, a former professional athlete to form Castiglia and Johnson, Inc. They merged with Morrow and Brooks, Inc. in 1986, and Jeff assumed the title of President. In 1998 Phil Morrow left the agency and Bill Strachan became a principal and the agency was re-named Johnson & Strachan, Inc. Jeff has a B.S in Business Administration, with a major in accounting, from George Mason University. Jeff is married with two children and resides in Vienna, Virginia.

Bill Strachan

- Principal/Executive Vice President
Bill is a Principal and Executive Vice President of Johnson & Strachan. After graduating from Grove City College in Pennsylvania, Bill started his insurance career as a Claims Representative for Westfield Insurance. He then worked for Safeco Insurance as a Marketing Representative. He joined the Morrow & Brooks Agency in 1994 as a Producer where he met Jeff Johnson. In 1998, Bill became a Principal and he and Jeff purchased the agency. They changed the name to Johnson & Strachan, Inc. and moved the operations to where it is located today in Fairfax, Virginia. Bill is an active member in his church and is involved with civic and charitable organizations. He has a BA in Finance and the CIC (Certified Insurance Consultant) designation. Bill is married with two children.

Rick Dygve

- Principal/Vice President
Rick is a Principal and Vice President of Johnson & Strachan. He graduated from the University of Virginia in 1971 and became a Sales Representative for Travelers Insurance. In 1977 he worked for an insurance agency and then started in own insurance agency in 1983. Rick merged his insurance operations with Johnson & Strachan in July of 2003. He has a BA in Economics and is a member of the American Insurance Marketing & Sales Society. He also has the CIC (Certified Insurance Consultant) and a CPIA (Certified Professional Insurance Agent) designations. Rick resides in Clifton with his wife, has two daughters and two grandchildren.
